Sunday, Bloody Sunday

So, here’s the goal: the most sacred oath I am going to hold myself to. For real, internet dweebs, this time I am going to actually post on a regular basis. I have to now that I have released this blog without any anonymous title (damn transparency).

With that, I plan on publishing SOMETHING by Sunday. Why Sunday you may ask? Well, my weeks tend to be insanely chaotic with school/work and often times I only realize what day it is in reference to Sunday (Sundays tend to be the most wonderful vegging days for me – ah – they are glorious).

Sidenote: just killed a bug in mid-air! Badass! (Buddhists, please ignore this statement)

Anyway, in my most recent adventures I happened to learn how to throw and spin a clay bowl. I’m not sure if that’s the correct terminology – nor do I care! The point is, using a wheel to mold clay is probably one of the most relaxing things I have ever done in my entire life. Granted, I was loudly swearing and freaking out about technique, but inwardly I felt like I was on cloud nine amongst a bunch of butterflies and quite possibly being serenaded by a chorus of angels. TWAS BEAUTIFUL.

My brother was kind of enough to show me how to do all this artsy coolness and my first post here is dedicated to him (is that classy or tacky?). Unsure. He’s an awesome little bro, though.

I also realized the NYC’s Central Park is the equivalent of a day at the beach if you’re traversing through the park on a warm sunny day for hours with friends. It is literally the best gem the city holds! My only regret is that I never found Balto. I’m still a bit heartbroken about that.

There seems to be an ongoing theme here, I probably need to relax more. Looks like my id is showing, I’m going to need to suppress it hardcore if I want to get through the week!

With that, I’m going to sign off. Having an epic first post is too much pressure, hopefully this initial one does not pain my brother too much. Enjoy listening to the U2 song that tends to play on repeat in my mind every Sunday http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFM7Ty1EEvs and potentially look forward to future posts (I’m already concerned, too, no worries).
